The Light We Carry is a Winter Solstice story circle that draws on ancient traditions and the Festival of Lights to explore how we hold, tend, and share light — within ourselves, in our friendships, and in the world around us.
As winter settles in and the nights stretch long, women have, for centuries, gathered around firelight to share stories, keep the hearth warm, and hold hope through the dark. From the ancient Celtic solstice traditions of tending the sacred flame, to the Hanukkah story of a single light enduring against all odds, this season invites us to remember our power to hold and share light — in every sense of the word.
The Light We Carry is a reflective gathering for women who wish to honor both the stillness and the spark of this time of year. Through journaling, poetry, music, and story, we’ll reflect on the light that has carried us, the embers we’re tending quietly in winter’s dark, and the ways we can offer that light to others — in our families, our friendships, and our communities one small flame at a time. Come as you are. Your Story Matters. Your Voice Belongs.

PLEASE NOTE: You must register to obtain the access code to the studio as we are in a secure building.
