DATE: Monday, June 23rd
TIME: 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
FACILITATOR: Beth Adelsberger
Join us for a calming, creative gathering where we’ll explore the meditative practice of slow stitching in a welcoming community circle.
Slow stitching is a gentle, mindful way to connect with fabric, creativity, and yourself. It's an invitation to slow down, stitch with intention, and find flow through simple hand sewing.
Techniques will be demonstrated, and fabric samples and sewing supplies will be provided for practicing and making a patch using fabric from repurposed jeans. You can also bring your own mending project and join the circle for conversation and inspiration.
What skills are required?
● No skills are necessary to attend.
● Whether you know how to sew or embroider, or you want to learn new techniques for renewing textiles, this group is for you!
● You can experiment with the technique I am teaching, or you can work on a stitching project you bring with you.
