Unearth hidden stories and unleash your creativity, exploring old texts through a new lens in this immersive workshop. We will be guided through the process of taking a discarded hardcover book and transforming it into a one-of-a-kind, mixed-media masterpiece. Part collage, part book art, this series explores how to manipulate existing pages to create a personal journal, a visual memoir, or a sculptural art object.

Session V: Poetry is just the evidence of life. If you life is burning well, poetry is just the ashes. —Leonard Cohen
Found poetry and intuitive painting are exciting was to use the former content of your altered book. (This workshop is being offered as an individual session and also part of an 8-week series).
Who Should Attend:
No prior experience is required. This class is perfect for artists, journalers, book lovers, and anyone looking to experiment with mixed-media in a new way.

PLEASE NOTE: You must register to obtain the access code to the studio as we are in a secure building. Our studio space is only accessible by way of stairs with a railing.
