WINTER SOLSTICE EDITION: Turning Point
DATE: Saturday, December 19th
TIME: 6:00 - 8:30 PM
LOCATION: Blooming Peace Studio, 221 South Easton Road, Glenside, PA 19038
Please join us for the Opening Night launch of The Oreland Anthology. This evening celebrates the poetry, prose, and essays of the Montgomery County writers and artists selected for our inaugural edition. Come share the excitement with us at Blooming Peace Studio in Glenside, known for its cultivation of well-being through creative expression.
Our theme, Turning Point, centers around the longest night and the hinge of the year. Featured works will highlight personal before-and-after moments, inner pivots, and the shifting tides of local and state issues. We promise that any exploration of shadow will be brightly illuminated, honoring the winter solstice as the precise moment the light begins its return.
Come for the readings, stay for the enriching conversation. Refreshments will be served, and copies of The Oreland Anthology will be available for purchase.
RSVP: Seating is limited and admission is by suggested donation. Please let us know you're coming by clicking the RSVP button and electronically submitting the suggested amount. If you want to come yet prefer to pay a different amount, send us an email via the CONTACT link on our website to get on the guest list. Cash, checks, cards, and additional donations accepted at the event.
