THIS WEEK’S SPECIAL FEATURE: Blackout Poetry
Uncover hidden meaning in everyday text! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll transform newspapers, magazines, and printed pages into original poems by erasing or blacking out words. No experience necessary—all material provided. Come as you are or bring your curiosity to explore language in a fresh, creative, playful way and share your discoveries with others.
Welcome to The Creative Oasis, a weekly gathering for those who give care to others and share the heart of service: therapists, social workers, healthcare providers, clergy, teachers, veterans, caregivers—anyone in the helping or healing professions (whether you're currently serving or retired).
Our intention is to co-create a safe space where you can simply create, explore, and unwind in a judgment-free zone where you can't do it "wrong." Feel free to approach this time as 'preventative maintenance' for your soul or as an opportunity to connect with kindred professionals. However you choose to view your experience, we offer a gentle reminder: caring for yourself is just as vital as caring for others.

PLEASE NOTE: You must register to obtain the access code to the studio as we are in a secure building. Our studio space is only accessible by way of stairs with a railing.
If finances are keeping you from coming, please contact us. We believe in the art of abundance and have an Art Angel Scholarship Fund to keep us in the flow state.
