Introduction to SoulCollage® - A Two-Part Series

Part 1 of 2: Sunday, October 19 3:30-6:30 PM

SoulCollage®, created by Seena Frost, is an intuitive collage technique for self-discovery that taps into one's inner wisdom without the need for words or ideas by harnessing the power of images. Through the power of SoulCollage® our mind, body, heart, and soul are all brought into the present moment creating space for a gentle, playful way of exploring one’s life, recognizing and honoring the different aspects of the authentic self and giving voice to the soul through collaged images. Through a simple process of cutting and pasting images from magazines, participants create cards and build a deck that will help them access their inner wisdom, quiet their thinking mind, while allowing intuition and the Soul to have a voice. All facets of our personalities, gifts, challenges, dreams—have wisdom and healing to impart. Over time, participants create a deck of SoulCollage® cards that facilitates self-exploration and encourages self-acceptance.

This workshop is Part 1 of a 2-part Introduction to SoulCollage® experience. Participants will gain a solid foundation for use as they and their SoulCollage® deck evolve over time. Each gathering is 3 hrs for a total of 6 hrs. Each week, we will learn and explore the magic of SoulCollage®, experience guided meditation, create collage cards, journal and practice card readings, and explore the following components of SoulCollage®, divided over the 2 gathering dates:

Key Topics

  1. Principles of SoulCollage®

  2. The Four Suits: Community, Council, Companion, and Committee

  3. The Local Story and the Larger Story

Fundamental Concepts

  1. One and Many

  2. Both/And

  3. Each card houses a single energy

  4. The card speaks in the first person

  5. Transpersonal Cards: Source, Witness, and SoulEssence

Key Activities

  1. Making cards and giving them voice with the "I Am One Who..." Exercise.

  2. Beginning experience of consulting with one's deck.

Participants will have access to a generous supply of rich imagery for use in card making, and all supplies and tools will be provided for both classes.
