You care for others - this space is here to nurture YOU. The Creative Oasis offers a chance for you to pause, connect, and restore in community with others who “get” the unique challenges of your work.
THIS WEEK’S SPECIAL FEATURE: Vision Boards for the Soul
What will you create in 2026? In this two-hour expressive arts workshop for helping professionals, healers, and caregivers, we’ll go beyond traditional New Year’s goals and resolutions and explore our inner hopes, dreams, and aspirations. Perhaps life is asking you to slow down, to be more fully present with others, to speak your mind, or to cultivate your creative gifts… The possibilities are limitless!
Participants will be invited to reflect on the past year, set intentions for the year ahead, and discover inspired messages to guide the way forward. Through gentle guided reflection, small group discussion, and open studio time for creative expression, each participant will create a mixed media collage “vision board” illustrating their unique vision. All sharing is by invitation and not required. Art materials will be provided, and no prior artistic experience is necessary.
The Creative Oasis is a weekly gathering for those who give care to others and share the heart of service: therapists, social workers, healthcare providers, clergy, teachers, veterans, caregivers—anyone in the helping or healing professions (whether you're currently serving or retired).
Our intention is to co-create a safe space where you can simply create, explore, and unwind in a judgment-free zone where you can't do it "wrong." Feel free to approach this time as 'preventative maintenance' for your soul or as an opportunity to connect with kindred professionals. However you choose to view your experience, we offer a gentle reminder: caring for yourself is just as vital as caring for others.

PLEASE NOTE: You must register to obtain the access code to the studio as we are in a secure building. Our studio space is only accessible by way of stairs with a railing.
