COLLAGE & MIXED MEDIA MONDAYS* (6-Week Class – Starts 1/13/25)
DATES: Mondays, January 13, 20, 27 & February 3, 10, 17
TIMES: 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM
FACILITATOR: Daune Marie
From the basics to beyond, you will start by experimenting with different art materials and reviewing the color wheel to enhance your overall design choices. You will make marks on paper and explore different shapes, colors, textures, and themes and then move into learning about choosing, arranging, affixing, and layering for your final composition. Various collage types and techniques will be introduced using recycled papers, old magazines, copier/computer printed images, fabric scraps, and found objects so you can develop your own style and create unique works of art. In the process, you may just find what fascinates you and feeds your creative soul.
No experience needed. All materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own supplies, special items or images that you may want to include in your artwork.
