8/22 ALCOHOL INKS: A Deeper Dive into a Magical Medium

TIME: 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM
FACILITATOR: Lori Crook
We will focus on many basic alcohol ink techniques with an emphasis on creating abstract art with a floral twist. Students will experiment with compressed air, puffers, plastic/bubble wrap, stencils, gel pens, and a wide array of colorful alcohol ink.
Instructor will provide demonstrations and will give lots of one-on-one assistance so that each student will progress over the three classes and ultimately come away with new skills and a love of this special medium.
Final project will be a 5” × 7” floral masterpiece ready for framing in an 8” × 10” mat. No experience necessary, but this class pairs well with an Intro to Alcohol workshop if you have already taken one.
Materials fee included in the price.
